There are a lot of interesting bars and pubs in Saigon that offer live music for you to enjoy with your drinks. Today, we will recap some of our favourites, so you don’t have to think so hard on the a night out with your friends. Let’s go!
1. Acoustic Bar
Address: 6E1, Lane 6, Ngo Thoi Nhiem St, Ward 7, District 3 (7:00pm till mid-night)

One of the most well-known live music bars in Saigon is probably Acoustic Bar. Event though the place is not to fancy or too big, but it’s definitely a very young, vibrant and lively hangout spot. And of course, the service at Acoustic Bar is nothing but nice and friendly. Acoustic Bar usually invite local or international young, up and coming but professional bands, singers to perform. So if live music at a cool spot and an ice cold drink sounds like something you’re interested in, Acoustic Bar is a must-try.
Every Wednesday from 8:45pm to 10:00pm, Acoustic Bar will host a Ladies Night with free drinks for all girls. That’s one more reason to visit this lovely bar!
2. Thị Bar Sai Gon
Address: 224 De Tham St, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1 (6:00pm – 1:00am)

Located on the sleepless street of Saigon, Bui Vien, Thi Bar is already quite popular amongst all locals and tourists. Besides the amazing live music performed by different bands, the place is cozy, with a fun and upbeat vibe to it. If you’re one who enjoys loud and fun music to dance and mingle with others, Thi Bar might become your favourite.
Thi Bar usually offers quite good deals, especially Happy Hours, Buy 2 get 1 or Ladies Night every Thursday. So keep an eye on their page, you might be able to enjoy some great performance with a good deal!
3. Rock Fan Club
Address: 25C Tu Xuong St, Ward 7, District 3 (7:00pm – 11:30pm)

Rock Fan Club is a little more special than the 2 we just mentioned above, this bar is quite unique and like its name, offers you great rock performance. The bands here usually perform folk rock, country rock to heavy mental. Rock music may not be as popular with Vietnamese audience so it can be hard for rock fans to find a place to enjoy their favourite musics. We’re happy to introduce a place that would be perfect for rock fans, not just to enjoy music, but also to make friends.
A little note that we want to bring to your attention is that Rock Fan Club is a smoking friendly place, so if you’re not a fan of smoking then this is something to consider!
4. Heart of Darkness Craft Brewery
Address: 31D Ly Tu Trong ST, Ben Nghe, District 1 (11:00am till mid-night)

Known as one of the best local craft beer brewers, Heart of Darkness Craft Brewery usually have their live music nights with jazz, country music performance. Their music nights are usually tame, just enough beats for you to enjoy their delicious cold beers after a long day.
Heart of Darkness Craft Brewery offers a diverse range of craft beer and also food, with lots of minigames event that you can attend and have fun with your friends.
5. Carmen Bar
Address: 08 Ly Tu Trong St, Ben Nghe, District 1 (7:00pm – 1:00am)

Carmen Bar is a special live music bar, focus on Latin music. With more than 20 years in operation, Carmen Bar is a popular bar for locals, even when they’re not a Latin music enthusiast.
